NetMirror APK Old Version

NetMirror old versions help when the newest build doesn't suit your phone. Maybe it crashes, runs slowly on an older device or a feature you liked has moved. This page lists the older builds we keep, explains which one to choose and shows you how to install it the right way.

Why Use an Older Version?

Most people should stay on the latest build, because it has the newest fixes and servers. An older version can still help in a few cases:

If none of these apply, stick with the latest NetMirror APK.

Which Version Should You Pick?

Start with the newest build. If it doesn't run well, go back one version at a time: try v5.5 first, then v5.0, then v4.5. This way you keep as many fixes as possible while finding a build that suits your phone.

If none of the older builds work either, the version probably isn't the problem. Check your internet connection, clear the app cache or free up storage, then try again.

How to Install an Old Version

Android won't install an older version over a newer one, so remove the current app first:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > NetMirror and tap Uninstall.

  2. Download the version you want from the table above.

  3. Open the file from your Downloads folder.

  4. If asked, tap Settings and turn on Allow from this source, then press back.

  5. Tap Install, then Open.

Uninstalling clears your watchlist, history and saved videos. Watch anything you've downloaded before you switch.

How to Check Your Current Version

Before you change anything, find out which version you have. Go to Settings > Apps > NetMirror > App details and look near the bottom of the screen. Note the number down, so you know which build to return to if the older one doesn't help.

Things to Know Before You Downgrade

Your Watchlist Will Be Cleared

Removing the current app deletes everything stored inside it, including your watchlist, Continue Watching row and offline videos. There's no way to move them to an older build.

Older Builds Miss Fixes

Each update fixes bugs and adds servers. An older build won't have these, so some titles may not load or may buffer more.

New Phones May Block Very Old Builds

Recent Android versions, such as Android 15, refuse apps built for very old Android releases. If an old build won't install on a new phone, use a newer one.

Ignore Update Pop-Ups

Older builds may ask you to update. If you chose an older version on purpose, close the pop-up and keep using it.

How to Go Back to the Latest Version

When you're ready, download the latest NetMirror APK and install it over the old one. You don't need to uninstall first when moving up to a newer version. If you see "App not installed", uninstall the old build and try again.

Old Versions on Android TV and Firestick

The same rules apply on TV devices. Uninstall the current app from your TV's app settings, then install the NetMirror old version APK with Downloader or a file manager. Older TV boxes with little memory often run v5.0 more smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which old version is the most stable?
It depends on your phone. Try v5.5 first, since it's closest to the latest build, then go back one step at a time.
Will an old version still play videos?
Usually yes, but some titles may not load because older builds lack the newest servers. If many titles fail, move to a newer build.
Can I keep my watchlist when I switch versions?
Not when moving to an older build, because you must uninstall first. Moving to a newer build keeps your watchlist in place.
Why won't an old version install on my new phone?
Very new Android versions block apps made for old Android releases. Try v5.5 or the latest build instead.
